Thanks Simon. That's good to know about getting help to transfer records across to iNaturalist. However my main concern is for the Project: Lockyer Valley Biodiversity which pulls together a lot of people's observations. I have put most of them in on behalf of others, but Glenda Walter has added a lot of her own. It would be very nice to be able to move this across to iNaturalist, but I assume that the multiple ownership would make it nigh on impossible. Any ideas?

Ken, this is very sad news. Have sent you an email expressing my gratitude for all you have done for science and the users of Bowerbird. It has been a wonderful experience and you have created a very effective model that others with more resources can use. One question: is there any way that users can download their records?

With the demise of the Google Earth location map function it would be useful if records were accompanied by a description of the location - e.g. distance and direction from an easily identifiable landmark or town.

    Phoracantha semipunctatus
    (species)
Taxonomy: Animalia: Arthropoda: Insecta: Coleoptera: Cerambycidae: Phoracantha: semipunctatus
Common Names: Beetles, Cerambycids, Eucalyptus Long-horned Borer
    Gordon Claridge says

See similar records: Glenda Walter, West Creek, Toowoomba (http://www.bowerbird.org.au/observations/78488) shows lateral spines on thorax; Matthew Connors (location not specified) (http://www.bowerbird.org.au/observations/123053); Sadie Jones (south of Brisbane) (http://www.bowerbird.org.au/observations/122365 (shows lateral spines but identified only to Cerambycidae) ALA have species as "punctata" with "punctatus" as a synonym.

Vinegar Hill Locality, 8km N of Gatton, Southeast Queensland. Found deceased under porch light in February after rain. Surrounding vegetation is open eucalypt forest dominated by stringybark (primarily Eucalyptus helidonica), ironbark (including Eucalyptus taurina), with Angophora and bloodwood (Corymbia) species - on shallow sandstone soil. 20mm long.

    Holconia
    (genus)
Taxonomy: Animalia: Arthropoda: Arachnida: Araneae: Sparassidae: Holconia
    Gordon Claridge says

Seem very likely to be a Holconia species but the black legs (in general only the upper parts can be seen - there was no getting it out of the corner of the sliding door track) largely without the short "furry" hairs often seen on the legs of this genus doesn't seem to correspond to any any species I can find.

Thanks Ken Harris for the ID. Checked it on Atlas of Living Australia and the distribution of records seemed to shout "I'm more than one species". I did a bit of a search for other photos of this species and found nothing much like my specimen, until I hit on Don Herbison-Evans' entry for it [http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/noto/lunifer.html] which shows many colour forms, but including one the same as mine (with the notation "the variety of colour forms suggests that there may be more than one species present in Australia. ") He pointed to an article [https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1440-6055.1996.tb01395.x] which indicated, on the basis of larval behaviour, that there may be at least two species under this binomial in Southeast Queensland.
