    FAMILY FATHERS DAY ACTIVITY

    Community Planting Day Sunday 1st September, 10 am to 12.30 Everyone's invited to the annual HRR Community Planting Day. Meet us at the top of Hustlers Hill, Niemann St, Bendigo )up from the Boundary Hotel) The planting area has been prepared to allow easy planting. Staff from the Natural Reserves Unit, City of Greater Bendigo (CoGB) will be there to assist.Native plant species are being provided by City of Greater Bendigo. The Planting will add to the Native Biodiversity Area established by past community plantings. The first community planting occurred in 2000 - these trees, shrubs and groundcovers are attracting many native bird species. We would like to thank Natural Reserves Unit for their support and for preparing the area for the Planting Day. Aldo Penbrook Hustlers Reef Reserve Advisory Committee
