This young frog has been sitting quite still for several hours. You can see the remains of the tadpole tail. You can also see a tadpole in the water nearby. I assume Striped Marsh Frog since they are common iat our place.

This little snake was about 20 cm long, and was newly dead. It seems to have been attacked by another animal, perhaps a bird. I am unable to identify it.

Identified by Rod Hobson, who says these geckoes are common in the Toowoomba/Oakey area. It was about 13 cm long, and nice and plump.
