Join Reef Watch Victoria to record natural events that occur in Port Phillip and Westernport.

The Two Bays Marine calendar will provide a repository for the recording of natural history events that occur in Port Phillip and Westernport.

The aim of the project is to build a database of images, footage, descriptions and location information of the natural events that take place in our two bays.

Questions such as when do the spider crabs enter Port Phillip Heads and does it change each year? Or at what time of year do Biscuit seastars spawn and Elephant fish come to Westernport will be able to be answered?

Overtime we will be able to build a seasonal calendar of events that will enable us to monitor changes as well as provide an alert for divers, scientists, marine naturalists and natural resource managers of the marine life events that are occurring in our two bays.

To contribute to this calendar, please upload your natural history event (photo or footage) with the location details and your description of the event.
