The South Australian Museum is currently developing a "Wildlife of Adelaide" book displaying example of both animals and plants found in and around the Adelaide environs. We have got the text mostly done but we are missing images of many of the animals and plants we want to show. Please join this Project and add any images you have of plants and animals from Adelaide. It does not matter if you do not know what you have photographed -- our experts will identify it for you. We will then select images from here to add to our book. You will be fully recognised for your contribution and obviously you will receive a free copy of the final book.

A possible Masked Bee sealing her nest entrance with a cellophane like substance. It's been quite fascinating watching her "lick" the entrance closed. Photos taken a couple of days apart, hopefully of the same species but different holes. The holes are approx 3mm dia

This beautiful wasp was approximately 10-14mm long, resting on a seedling lettuce leaf. Is this possibly a species of paper wasp?
