The City of Moonee Valley has two beautiful natural boundaries the Maribyrnong River and the Moonee Ponds Creek and wonderful established and historic parks, Queens Park, Woodlands Park and Napier Park to name just three. Two sites Woodlands Park and Valley Lake Reserve contribute bird data to the Atlas of Australian Birds. The abundant wildlife that calls the City of Moonee Valley home is celebrated in this project.

Counting wetland birds and recording frogs are my special interests as well as encouraging birds into my backyard. Enjoy the challenge of getting a good photo to share.

I work for the City of Melbourne and am excited about biodiversity, especially in our fair city. I am particularly interested in orchids, insects and birds, and pollination interactions!
