Welcome to the Bendigo Field Naturalists sightings and observations project page. The Bendigo Field Naturalists Club has been promoting the conservation, understanding and enjoyment of the natural environment for over 60 years. The club holds monthly meetings with guest speakers covering a diverse range of topics. Regular excursions occur to areas of local interest. Visitors are welcome to attend monthly meetings and excursions, and you can find further details on the club website or by emailing info@Bendigofieldnaturalists.asn.au This project page if for BFNC members (and friends) to add sightings and observations form the local Box-Ironbark forests and surrounding woodlands (Bendigo region). Observations may come from club excursions or from members private experiences. It is hoped that this format will encourage interest in recording observations and sightings. This page is open for general observations and sightings and in time more specific projects may be developed.
