    Shrub to 2m, small leaves but not hairy, elliptic to lance-shaped with pointy tip, copious white flowers along upper half of branches, forming small woody balls. Eventually these will form distinctively shaped capsules comprising a pie-dish like base and arching top divided into 5 segments.

    The flower petals are shorter than the petals so this is not burgan (Kunzea ericoides), although there is certainly a lot of that species present.
