    Wow thank you for the information Kate Sandiford!!!! Fascinating, and glad my pic is of interest, I nearly didn't post it as it's not the best quality. The star pickets around our snake-wire fence (and often on the mesh itself) are a favourite spotting place for me, so many insects seem to sun themselves there.
