    Acanthopagrus australis
    (species)
Taxonomy: Animalia: Chordata: Actinopterygii: Perciformes: Sparidae: Acanthopagrus: australis
Common Names: Sea breams, porgies, Australian Seabream, Black Bream, Blackbream, Bream, Common Bream, Sea Bream, Seabream, Silver Bream, Surf Bream, Yellow-fin Bream, Yellow-finned Bream, Yellowfin Bream
    Matt Campbell says

I was always of the understanding that the Western most distribution of Acanthopagrus australis was the East side of The Prom with any bream found on the West side were A. butcheri. From Mallacoota through to the East of the prom, both species are found. However, the ALA shows records of A. australis West of The Prom and the golden colour of the pectoral fins on these specimens is a defining feature of A. australis, even at a young age.

Nice fish shots Matt, just thought I would also mention that there is a Wilsons Prom project on bowerbird you could tag these with.
